Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and motivated Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Bellevue, Nebraska area. We are seeking professionals passionate about helping students improve their communication skills and thrive in academic environments.

Position Details:

Location: Bellevue, NE
Schedule: Full-time
Contract Type: School-year position with potential renewal based on performance

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to be considered:

Valid Nebraska SLPA license issued by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)
Completion of an associates or bachelors degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field from an accredited institution
Supervision agreement with a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
Ability to pass required background checks and fingerprinting

Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
Assist with implementing therapy plans and goals outlined in students IEPs
Conduct group and individual therapy sessions
Collect and document data on student performance and progress
Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate records
Communicate effectively with the supervising SLP, educational staff, and families
